According to monastery Corvey's records the present village chapel, built at the end of the 18th-century, had a antecessor, which was several centuries older. The village chapel, whose community belongs to the Uslar parish at the church community Leine-Solling was built in 1771 and renovated in 1998.

Roughly five and half years prior to the incorporation of the other 17 villages Allershausen was incorporated to the town Uslar on the 1. July 1968.

Since the 1. November 2001 is the village again an independent district of the joined community Uslar.
